(b) Attending IISCM Webinars IISCM conducts monthly free webinar for about one-hour duration. You will earn one professional development point for attending the webinar for full duration.
(c) Executive Development Programs (EDPs) IISCM conducts Executive Development Programs on Emerging Supply Chain topics. By attending these EDPs, you can earn 8 professional development points per day of EDP. Typically these EDPs are for a duration of one or two days. (d) Plant Tours IISCM collaborates with industry associations and corporates across India to organise Plant/Industry Tours that are of importance to Supply Chain Professionals. These tours are organised on cost-sharing basis, so there will be a nominal fee for the transportation and for refreshments.
B. Presentations, Publications and Educational Development
(a) IISCM Digest IISCM will bring out an annual magazine by February 2020 which will be released during the National Conference on Supply Chain and Logistics 2020. You can publish articles in this magazine, which will gain you 6 professional development points. To publish your article in IISCM Digest, first submit your Article Abstract using the Article Abstract Submission Form. On acceptance of the Article you can submit the full article in about 1500 to 2000 words on any topic that is of relevance to supply chain. All contributions must be original and free from plagiarism.
(b) Delivering IISCM Webinars You can deliver webinar on supply chain topics through IISCM’s Webinar Platform for the benefit of the supply chain community. These webinars are of one-hour duration and the presenter will gain 2 professional development points.
(c) Delivering a Supply Chain Topic at an Educational Institution IISCM supports various educational institutions on voluntary basis to help the students to understand the supply chain concepts and about supply chain career. You can deliver one or two hour session on the agreed supply chain topic at the educational institution and gain two professional development points per hour.
(d) Delivering a Supply Chain Topic at an Organisation Members and Extended Members of IISCM visit supply chain organisations to spread the best practices in Supply Chain and help the supply chain community at large. You can deliver one or two hour session on the agreed supply chain topic at an organisation and gain two professional development points per hour. This not only helps the presenter to earn the professional development points but also to validate his knowledge and build his network.
(e) SCM Book Review Session You can present a review on one of the Supply Chain Book for one-hour and gain two professional development points.

C. Service to the Supply Chain and Operations Management Profession
(a) Serving as a Member of IISCM Advisory Board The primary role of the IISCM Advisory Board is to advise the IISCM Management Team on how to build a robust and vibrant supply chain community in India and to promote supply chain knowledge in academia, corporate and government sectors. The board may convene between one and three times in a year and the meeting will be organised in Chennai/Bengaluru/Pune. The duration of each meeting will not exceed 3 hours. (b) Serving as a Member of NCSCL 2020 Organising Committee This committee is responsible for the selection of venue, speakers, conference promotions, decisions related to conference etc. The members of this committee will gain 6 professional development points.
