IISCM provides end-to-end support to you right from selecting the suitable certification and until you appear for the examination. Once you attain the CSCP certification then you will need to plan for the maintenance of the certificate. One of our consultants will support you throughout this process. I will be presenting here only the key aspects, but for more details, I would advise you to visit www.APICS.org.

To appear for CSCP certification examination, you have to be either a graduate or at least possess 3 years of Supply Chain related experience. In case you are certified in CPIM that also makes you eligible to sit for CSCP examination.

I would recommend you to go for APICS Plus International Membership, which will fetch you good discount on learning system and examination fees.

The best way to prepare for this global standard in end-to-end supply chain management program is to combine the Learning System and Class Room Training. I would strongly recommend you to have the learning system before attending the class room training. For someone who decides not to attend the class room, they can rely on the learning system to succeed in the CSCP examination. CSCP curriculum has three modules.

Module-1: Supply Chain Design

Module-2: Supply Chain Planning and Execution

Module-3: Best Practices

The learning system contains two components. One, the printed text books that covers all the three modules. Second, an online companion where you can practice for the examination by solving the questions in multiple-choice format.

IISCM conducts the classroom training in all major cities across India. The classes are conducted by APICS Recognised Instructor from IISCM who typically have 20+ years’ experience in supply chain consulting for major national and international companies.

Once you complete the training program, I would recommend you to review the learning system at least 3 times over a period of 4 to 6 months. This will help you to not to gain a sound knowledge in end-to-end supply chain, but also helps you to attain this credential. I would say one should go after this knowledge and the certificate is the by product.

You can take the CSCP examination at a Pearson Vue centre anywhere in the world. The duration of this online examination is for three and half hours with 150 multiple-choice or objective type questions. The scoring range is 200 to 350 and one needs to secure 300 or above to secure a pass in the examination.

Once you attain the CSCP credential, every five years you have to submit 75 professional development hours to maintain the certification. And this has to be repeated on completion of every 5 years to keep the certification in good standing. I would recommend you to have a one-on-one meeting with our consultants to come out with a strategy that best suits you.
